Market
Trade eligible equipment and resource stacks through fixed-price listings, auctions and direct offers. Unlock trading in the Codex, compare the client fee schedule, and keep Market deliveries separate from Mail and Steam inventory transfers.

Unlock and the four Market tabs
The Market requires online mode and the Rune of Trade in the Codex. Unlocking the Codex itself does not unlock trading: the Market checks whether its specific rune is acquired.
Market browses public listings; My listings manages your own sales and offers; Inbox holds deliveries and returned items; Steam handles the supported Steam inventory transfers. Use Bazaar for Seal purchases. It has a different currency and catalog. Values below describe the installed 0.8.1 client. The server supplies current membership, opponents, listings, season state and reward delivery.
| Tab | Use |
|---|---|
| Market | Search and inspect current listings |
| My listings | Manage listings, auctions and direct offers |
| Inbox | Claim deliveries and returned items |
| Steam | View and transfer supported Steam inventory items |
Listing duration and fees
Fixed-price listings last 72 or 168 hours; auctions last 24, 48, 72 hours. Prices are whole numbers from 3 to 1,000,000,000 in a permitted currency. A buyout belongs only to an auction and must exceed the starting bid. The default listing cap is 100.
Gold listings charge the posting fee up front: round up total listing value × the selected posting rate, with a minimum of 1 gold. For fixed-price stacks, total value includes the quantity. Crystal listings are not deducted from local gold by this path; the online flow supplies their charge and confirmation. The default sale commission is 10% and is separate from posting. Runtime settings can override fees; review the final in-game confirmation.
Auction minimum bid increase is 5%. The native anti-sniping extension is 5 minutes. Direct offers reserve funds while the owner considers them, expire after 48 hours by default, and return the reserved money when declined or expired.
| Listing | Duration | Default posting rate | Gold fee on 10,000 total |

Eligible items, currencies and locked pieces
An equipment listing must come from the bag or stash; unequip a piece first. It must be marketable under the item flag or the current rarity rule, and it must be unlocked. Listing removes the piece or stack from local storage while it is offered for sale.
For ordinary eligible items, the default currency rule allows gold or crystals below Mythic rarity and crystals only from Mythic upward. All Riftstones are gold-only in 0.8.1, including the last-map Riftstone. Consumables that increase random loot drops are also gold-only; that draw-related rule takes precedence over rarity. Resource-stack types include materials, gems, scrolls, consumables, Riftstones and Circle pieces; the stack must have a known item identity and 1–9,999 units. Availability and eligibility may be narrowed by the server.
Steam export adds stricter checks, including soulbound status and exact catalog identity. Do not infer Steam eligibility from a normal Market listing. See Equipment, Materials, Gems and Riftstones.
| Case | Normal Market rule |
|---|---|
| Equipped equipment | Unequip into bag or stash first |
| Locked equipment | Unlock before listing |
| Marketable flag / rarity | Must pass current tradability rule |
| Below Mythic | Gold or crystals, subject to eligibility |
| Mythic and above | Crystals only by default |
| All Riftstones | Gold only, including Abyss |
| Drop-boosting consumable | Gold only |
| Resource stack | Known type and identity; at most 9,999 units |
| Soulbound flag | An additional Steam restriction; not a blanket Market prohibition in this predicate |

Buying, cancelled listings and Inbox claims
Inspect the item, quantity, currency and total before buying, bidding or making an offer. Current prices, median history and available listings come from the server; this guide does not publish live market values.
Completed purchases and returns use the Market Inbox. Cancelling a listing sends its item back to the Inbox; sales, refunds and deliveries must be claimed through the appropriate delivery entry. The claim is accepted and applied through the online delivery flow, so a pending or retrying request is not proof of a second reward. Keep space available in the destination storage and wait for the confirmed result.
Mail holds letters and attached gifts. It is a separate interface from the Market Inbox.

Steam inventory: stricter export rules
The Steam tab lists supported inventory items and transfers. Sending to Steam requires a hero at level 20 and at least one crystal pack bought in the Crystal Shop. The native Steam occupancy limit is 8, including items already there and pending outgoing transfers; the general movement validator separately caps units per movement at 100. The current Steam session and server must accept the operation.
Equipment must pass ordinary tradability, must not be marked “does not go to Steam”, and must not be soulbound. It needs a supported base, a Mythic, Ascendant or Eternal rarity, and a catalog item level (1 or a multiple of 10 through 100), no enhancement or enhancement XP, no filled gem sockets, no enchantment/infusion and no crafted stat-scroll identity. Its remaining item identity must match the Steam catalog template. A maker/signature mark can be removed during the supported conversion and the confirmation reports that loss.
The gem export floor is native tier 4; supported Circle export rarities are mythic, ascendant, eternal. These are additional catalog filters, not a guarantee that a particular stack is accepted. Check the in-game reason for any disabled transfer. Workbench explains modifications that can affect equipment export.
| Equipment export check | Required state |
|---|---|
| Trade state | Marketable and unlocked |
| Binding | Not soulbound; not excluded from Steam |
| Modification | No enhancement / enhancement XP, filled gem sockets, enchantment or infusion |
| Scroll identity | No crafted stat-scroll identity |
| Template | Supported base, rarity, item level and exact catalog identity |
| Maker / signature | Conversion may remove the mark; inspect confirmation |
