Transmute
Combine items and compare rarity upgrade chances.

Transmute
Consume exactly 8 inputs for one upgraded result. Equipment must share one rarity. Common through Mythic equipment may be used; Legendary and Eternal equipment cannot be inputs, and the station never creates Eternal items. Equipment normally upgrades by one rarity, with a small chance to skip an additional rarity, capped at Legendary. The result chooses one of the input item levels and generates a fresh equipment base/roll; it does not promise the highest input level or preserve affixes.
Stackable recipes upgrade ore or essence to the next tier, a potion to its next duration, or a scroll to the next tier. Reagents and top-tier stacks cannot be upgraded. Gem inputs share a tier; mixed bases are supported by the native gem recipe. Because Eternal output is excluded, a gem upgrade into the Eternal tier is rejected even though Eternal gems exist in the drop catalog. Riftstones are likewise bounded by their output rarity. There is no extra gold charge in the native transmute operation.
