HOTFIX 1.0.2a

Hotfix 1.0.2a: Rune Transmute, Dizzy and crowd control

Rune Transmute enabled, Arcane Trap applies Dizzy, 25% Attack Speed reduction, crowd-control fixes, Boss Key and refreshed item icons.

Historical patch notes. Current data uses Patch 1.0.3.

Rune Transmute is now available

Rune Transmute can now be used at the Alchemist. The feature was announced in 1.0.2 and enabled by this hotfix. The recipes remain 9 runes of the same rarity → 1 random rune usable by your class: 50% Uncommon → Rare, 15% Rare → Legendary, 50% Legendary → Rune Set, and a guaranteed Rune Set reroll. Transmutation guide.

Arcane Trap and Dizzy

Arcane Trap still deals Arcane damage and applies Arcane Grip; it now also applies Dizzy to every enemy hit. Damage, Mana cost, cooldown and base Arcane Grip duration are unchanged.

Dizzy reduces Attack Speed by 25% and Movement Speed by 35%, for a base 3 seconds. This also improves Flare, which already applies Dizzy. Skill cards, level previews, status descriptions and related links now use these values.

Crowd-control diminishing returns

Repeated control effects now reduce only stun/root time, preserving the status. A Frozen enemy can therefore still qualify for Frozen-dependent bonuses after its immobilization ends, while Frozen remains active. Wiki previews show base status durations; they do not predict a target's accumulated diminishing returns.

Boss Key

The game settings now offer an option for Boss Key to hide the taskbar icon too.

Other installed asset changes

The installed build also changes 20 item icons, including equipment, two reins and a treasure chest, plus four status icons that share their equipment art. The wiki images have been refreshed. No item stats, drop sources, rune recipes, equipment roll coefficients, enums or progression graphs changed in the decoded asset comparison.

Read the official announcement. This wiki now uses Deskrawl 1.0.2a, Steam build 25842017.
