PaladinNotes & strategy
Solo Paladin, Lv45. This is a boss-push setup: stay alive through the fight while your basic attacks do the damage. No second hero or pet needed. Learn all 22 points: Shield of Faith 5 Aura of Protection 5 Sacrifice 5 Sacred Rampart 7 Active order: Aura of Protection > Sacred Rampart. Leave the other learned skills inactive; keep their ranks for prerequisites and native skill scaling. Slot 3 is intentionally empty. The best tested three-skill order was slower with this exact rank allocation. Equipment target: all 14 pieces Rare iLvl40, +6, awaken both +3/+6 milestones. Gems are Tier 2 (Rare); no Heroic+ items, scrolls, enchants, pets, Codex or account bonuses in the test. This is an invested Rare setup, not fresh +0 gear. Keep the shown affix order: awakening boosts the first two affixes. Damage: Attack, Haste and physical Penetration; Crit Chance/Damage round it out. Defense: Health, Defense, Regen, Block and Absorption. Use the exact gem layout in the preview. Frenzy on offhand and Thick Hide on legs; the other sockets use separate gems. Spend all 45 passive points as shown: connected melee Attack/Accuracy route with Haste and crit nodes. The complete allocation is saved in the tree. Don't copy only the final notable nodes without their connecting route. Native 1.0.3 simulation, Lv45 fixed, 30 seeds per boss, full HP at entry. Real act-boss encounters, not normal stage monsters; no manual potions. Results: Veil Act 10: 30/30 wins, 11.8s average Breach Act 1: 30/30 wins, 17.5s average Breach Act 2: 30/30 wins, 27.6s average Breach Act 3: 30/30 wins, 41.3s average Breach Act 4: 30/30 wins, 84.5s average Breach Act 5: 0/30 wins Breach Act 4 is the practical target for this exact setup. Act 5 did not clear in these tests; don't spend riftstones expecting the same result there. With weaker gear, use the earlier bosses and build up first. Account bonuses and actual rolls can change your result. Why this setup: a faster Strength/Swiftness preset was less reliable on Act 4. The main preset prioritizes consistent clears. For easier bosses you can respec to Shield of Faith 2, Vital Blessing 5, Blessing of Strength 5, Blessing of Swiftness 10; active Swiftness > Strength > Shield. That preset cleared Breach Act 3 in ~32s, but only 17/30 Act 4 wins before the final gear adjustment. Best tested candidates, not a claim of a global optimum. Gear cost and prior unlock time are excluded.
