QuestAway 1.0.2: crafting targeting, stash pricing and Codex routes

Verified client changes to Forge and Transmute targeting, premium stash pricing, Codex connections, healing auras and interface controls.

The wiki follows QuestAway 1.0.2, revision a1b346e10179, Steam build 26190336. These notes compare public client definitions and reviewed rule bodies against 1.0.1. They are not an official developer announcement. Runtime balance settings and server decisions can differ.

Forge and Transmute favor active heroes

When the bench contains a class outside the active party, Forge and equipment Transmute use weighted tickets: each active hero contributes 3, each benched hero 1. Tickets accumulate for matching classes and armor weights. The pool still contains owned hero classes; if there are no usable tickets the client falls back to uniform selection. This is separate from the chest-only party-loot setting and its party-focus branch. Sealed Transmute results retain the ticket tables captured when the operation starts.

Premium stash pricing is additive

A new premium tab now costs base price + 100 × counted purchased tabs. At the default base price of 300 crystals, the sequence remains 300, 400, 500, 600… . The difference matters when an offer or server price changes the base: a base of 240 with two counted tabs now costs 440, rather than the former proportional 400. Relevant pack entitlements count toward the progression. A Codex tab → Premium upgrade converts an earned tab and does not add a new tab. Crystal Shop.

Codex connections avoid intervening runes

The client now shifts a blocking rune and its descendants along their branch so straight prerequisite connections do not pass through another rune. The wiki's interactive Codex follows this layout correction. Rune effects, prices, levels and prerequisites are unchanged.

Healing and party combat corrections

Permanent party regeneration auras now apply their caster's Heal Power modifier. Healing-skill tooltips also apply the hero's Heal Power to the displayed current value. The wiki's healing previews now include a Heal Power (%) reference input, including permanent party regeneration. The initial reference uses 0%; actual hero output depends on its stats and other modifiers. When party members change during a stage fight, the client keeps a stable hero-ID mapping while restoring fighters. Skill reference.

Interface and reliability

The reviewed settings screen includes separate controls for spell effects and opacity, storm lightning, screen flashes, chest and Workbench effects, hero enhancement particles and animated item glow. These presentation controls leave combat outcomes unchanged. The client also updates replay/session handling and ranking rendering; this comparison does not infer server availability or rewards from those changes.

Catalog compatibility

The existing class, skill, equipment, passive, Codex, crafting-recipe, online and progression tables retain their previous values, apart from the stash-price parameter. Newly extracted crafting ticket weights supplement those tables. The catalog retains 10 classes, 200 skills, 2,224 passive nodes and 355 Codex runes. Existing saved IDs remain valid.
