QuestAway 1.0.6: Heroic Market currencies, pending orders and profile inspection
Verified 1.0.6 client comparison: Heroic Gold listings, pending Market orders, inspection privacy and unchanged gameplay tables.
This comparison uses installed QuestAway 1.0.6, revision 888f97419a53, Steam build 26288574, against 1.0.5. The public Steam news feed checked on 29 October 2026 lists 1.0.5 as its latest announcement. These 1.0.6 findings describe the shipped client and are not an official developer changelog.
Heroic equipment and Market currencies
Heroic equipment can use Gold or Crystals in the reviewed 1.0.6 client. Mythic and higher equipment requires Crystals. Minimum Crystal prices remain 50 for Eternal, 25 for Legendary, 5 for Mythic and 10 per Colossus material unit. The server validates the permitted currency and final transaction.
The equipment currency helper’s cutoff changed from Heroic to Mythic. This restores the client’s Gold option for Heroic equipment; it does not remove other listing restrictions or guarantee server acceptance. All Riftstones remain gold-only. The first-Crystal-purchase Market wait, fees and item restriction flags retain their reviewed rules.
Pending purchases and bids
Gold purchases and bids can remain pending while the server processes the order. The client now tracks those orders, marks pending bids as “Sending…” and refreshes the account after checkpoint acceptance. A pending marker is not proof that an item or auction has been won; wait for the confirmed account result and check the Market Inbox. The client clears an unanswered pending marker after its retry window; this does not establish that the server refunded or accepted the order.
Profile and equipment inspection
The 1.0.6 client removes the “Who can inspect my heroes” selector and stops sending whoCanInspect with social privacy settings. Friend-request and online-status controls remain. Profile cards still provide hero and equipment inspection through the server inspection endpoint; the client no longer displays its former “This player hid their items” state. The server remains responsible for access and availability.
Profile inspection layout also adjusts its placement when the surrounding profile popup moves or resizes. These changes affect the game’s own interface; this website does not fetch private game accounts.
Gameplay comparison
All 155 non-version main tables match 1.0.5, including 200 skills, 2,224 passive nodes, classes, gems, 21 runewords, equipment bases, pets, monsters, loot defaults, map rules and shipped settings. All 357 Codex nodes, 24 combat-delivery definitions and 27 reviewed combat functions also match after normalization of obfuscated identifiers and numeric expressions. The Thorns coefficient remains 1. This review found no new gem, runeword, skill or passive balance values to apply; it does not imply every unreviewed runtime function is unchanged.
