QuestAway 1.0.7: combat rebalance, revised builds and Halloween catalog
Client comparison: skill and passive changes, equipment affixes, modern combat, Arena rewards, Colossus rules, presets and seasonal cosmetics.
Verified installed QuestAway 1.0.7, revision f3e34957838c, Steam build 26397405, observed 3 November 2026. This is an installed-client comparison, not official patch notes. The Steam news feed reviewed today still ends at 1.0.6.
Skills, passives and equipment
The 200-skill catalog has revised scaling coefficients. The 2,224-node passive tree retains its topology but changes 76 node-effect definitions, 83 names and eight raw keystones, including Poison and Burn branches. Weapon, offhand, accessory and armor affix pools change. Current builds and the simulator now use this version’s definitions. Existing saved gear retains its own recorded affixes and can be marked as using an obsolete pool.
Combat
Dodge has a 75% ceiling. Continuous damage now interacts with defenses and critical/attack-rhythm scaling; combined suppression has a 2,000-rating knee. Penetration above 100% has a separate excess formula. Thorns Growth uses a logarithm with a 400 reference, plus conditional percentage retaliation. The rhythm scale is 20,000; direct skill damage budgets can use reduced cooldowns. PvE square-root healing rates rise to 0.0145 for allies and 0.0298 for self-heals; PvP retains 0.0097 and 0.0199. Class-specific mechanics and current packet handling run in the native simulator. Combat reference.
Arena and Colossus
Arena season rewards now require 25 fights and use revised amounts, including Legend’s 12,000/8,000/4,000/2,000/800 Crystal bands. Arena reward table.
In 1.0.7, the client also defines a 25% lucky-chest roll and a 20 billion damage soft knee for the Colossus, plus 25% penetration. The contribution-medal time gate remains 15%; these percentages describe different checks. Final chest eligibility, daily counters and delivery are server-controlled.
Progression, presets and Market
The shipped per-map XP coefficient is 0.45 on Veil, Breach and Abyss, previously 0.8. The client also adds world-distance and surplus-XP rules; this coefficient alone is not a promise of final XP per hour. Hero XP requirements and point budgets retain their extracted curves. Gear, account context and runtime tuning affect progression.
The 1.0.7 preset system has two base slots each for hero builds, groups, Arena formations and equipment. Group and Arena types have a separate one-slot courtesy entitlement; ownership determines whether it applies. A purchased preset slot has a 300 Crystal client default, with up to ten purchased slots per type. Slot names allow up to 16 characters. Review final eligibility and price in the game.
Shipped map XP coefficients are now 0.45 rather than 0.8. Market price warnings now use a 10× median threshold instead of 3× when the required sale sample exists. Colossus Core and Fragment carry the dropped-origin-only Steam flag. Check in-game eligibility before a transfer; listing currency and origin restrictions are separate rules.
Seasonal and account catalog
The installed catalog adds ten Monster Ball skins, Pumpkin Bat, 13 furniture types, one furniture collection and four balloon skins. Current totals: 60 skins, 16 pets, 273 furniture types, 12 collections, 21 balloon appearances and 93 base shop products. Seasonal catalog presence does not guarantee current purchase availability.
Pumpkin Bat has +5% maximum Health. Its shipped Colossus-chest event window is 2026-10-31T00:00:00.000Z through 2026-11-01T00:00:00.000Z (end exclusive), with Silver 5%, Gold 10% and Diamond 20% independent per-chest chances. This window ended on 1 November 2026 UTC; the installed catalog alone does not establish a currently active event. The shop also defines a 500 Crystal product, subject to server availability.
Source and verification
All 156 main definitions, 357 Codex nodes and 24 combat-delivery definitions were resolved against the installed client. Codex nodes and delivery constants match 1.0.6; runtime combat functions contain the changes described above. SHA-256: 0986345cd5726fb97ed3d42143b56cf9cae5ea0c824eb76ddd122158a526186e. Static client defaults and the native simulation do not predict live server overrides, listings, ownership or reward delivery.
