QuestAway 1.0.0: monster scaling, Colossus medals and shop prices
Verified client changes: high-level regular monsters and rewards, Diamond participation, Colossus strength, Arena health and Crystal Shop prices.
The wiki now follows installed QuestAway 1.0.0, revision ae614f234989, Steam build 26174055. This comparison covers public client definitions and reviewed rule bodies against our 0.8.1 snapshot. It is not an official developer announcement. Live offers, hunt strength and other server overrides may differ.
Regular monsters: high-level reinforcement and rewards
Regular monsters above level 30 now gain extra HP and damage based on the native reference-health curve. Stage and act bosses do not receive this additional reinforcement. Their existing boss scaling remains separate.
| Recommended level | HP | Damage | XP | Gold before rounding | Chest acquisition factor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 | ×1 | ×1 | ×1 | ×1 | ×1 |
| 40 | ×1.439 | ×1.137 | ×1.061 | ×1.061 | ×1.022 |
| 50 | ×2.027 | ×1.284 | ×1.144 | ×1.144 | ×1.051 |
| 70 | ×3.884 | ×1.617 | ×1.404 | ×1.404 | ×1.144 |
| 100 | ×9.819 | ×2.246 | ×2.235 | ×2.235 | ×1.441 |
The extra HP factor is the reference-health ratio to level 30 raised to 0.48; damage uses exponent 0.17. XP and gold each gain 14% of the extra HP factor above ×1. Common-chest acquisition gains 5% of that extra factor: this adjusts the kill guarantee and per-kill chance, while the time floor and queue capacity still apply. Chest contents and item-rarity percentages are unchanged. World & Maps, Chests & loot and combat rules use these defaults.
Colossus medals and strength
Diamond now requires both Gold participation (at least 75% of the recorded alive-time) and a top-5% damage position. A high rank alone no longer upgrades a short participation to Diamond. Silver remains 50% and Gold remains 75%.
The hunt can also provide a server-controlled strength value. Its default is 1,000, accepted integer range 16–64,000, and its damage factor scales by strength / 1,000 before Fury. The guide's reference Fury table uses the default strength. Rift & Colossus.
Arena rules version 6
The health-scaling curve now uses each fighter's own level, replacing the mean level shared by both formations. Its curve and other extracted Arena defaults remain unchanged. Old replays retain their rule version and therefore their historical health behavior. Arena / PvP.
Crystal Shop defaults
The four purchasable classes change from 800 to 1,000 crystals. The individual pet offers change from 400 to 500 crystals. Skin prices decrease:
| Skin rarity | 0.8.1 | 1.0.0 |
|---|---|---|
| Heroic | 550 crystals | 400 crystals |
| Mythic | 800 crystals | 575 crystals |
| Legendary | 1,200 crystals | 850 crystals |
| Eternal | 1,750 crystals | 1,250 crystals |
These are native catalog defaults before runtime offers. Balloon, furniture and other extracted prices are unchanged. Compare Crystal Shop offers.
Compatibility and coverage
The reviewed class, skill, equipment, gem, passive-tree, Codex, crafting and progression tables retain their previous values. Skill points still equal floor(level / 2); passive points equal hero level with a free origin. Existing party IDs, equipment choices and allocations remain compatible. The native highest-owned-hero check now includes benched heroes as well as the active party.
Previous 0.8.1, 0.8.0 and earlier history remain available. Sources and version limits.
